My
name is Nesima. I'm 17 and a junior in high school. I love
writing! Ever since I could pick up a pencil (even though the
handwriting didn't look too nice), I've been coming up with
stories about me, my family, video games or unfinished ideas
that inspired me. I'm also the editor in chief of our school
paper and am working on 2 different novels— one fantasy/mystery
and one realistic fiction. Some highlights of my writing career
are interviewing Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy, Olympic figure
skater Kristi Yamaguchi and author Libba Bray.I found out
about Miss O and Friends from a teen magazine and was really
interested. From then on, I would go on all the time and entered
all the contests. Eventually, I became one of the writers
published in the Write On! fiction contest three years ago,
which was awesome. I plan on majoring in journalism, becoming a
lawyer and a published author. Outside of writing, I love
volunteering with the Invisible Children club at my school,
cooking, piano, travel and of course, sleeping. I'm incredibly
thankful for having the Miss O and Friends community for being
an outlet for my writing. I hope other girls take advantage of
this great site, have fun and learn the most fun you can have is
to be yourself.
