Joann Coviello

Joann Coviello is an accomplished business professional with an extensive background in public relations, communications, conference and special events management. Joann's experiences with FORTUNE, Forbes and Random House centered on content development, selling corporate sponsorships and publicity.
In addition to Joann's activities on Miss O & Friends, currently working on obtaining corporate funding for a special report for The Aspen Institute, and in 2002 was the publicist for "How Companies Lie", published by Crown Publishing, a division of Random House, Other consulting projects involved work with American Express Publishing and Fairchild Publications.
Joann participates in numerous community volunteer projects, and earlier this year she single-handedly procured over 450 brand new books from publishers for donation to an elementary school in Bridgeport, CT. She is an active member of New York Women in Communications (NYWICI), and was the recipient of two awards last year for committee work with that organization.
A graduate of SUNY Purchase with a B.A. in English Literature, Joann currently resides in Wilton, CT.
