"Miss O loved to draw. She had a little book that she drew in that could fit in her pocket. She could only doodle that at lunch and recess. But, as she was told not to do she started doodling on the worksheet. It didn’t distract her. She did it only when she was done. But its the teacher it was distracting-distracting from seeing what she needed to improve on. All she usually saw were doodles, doodles, and more doodles. So when she did this she’d send a piece of paper with Miss O down to the artroom. She’d doodle there all she’d like. After school one day. . . .
""hmmm hmm hmm"" Miss O hummed as she doodled herself on her h/w. Then Juliette cam up from behind her. Oh, girl! You got the drawing blues! Oh, Juliette said do I feel sorry for you- yes?"" Miss O said. ""yea, I love doodling these cool drawings. It doesn’t distract me, I only do it after my work! yea said Juliette"" but its distracting the teacher from grading you-like. . . she cant see with all that doodling! She must know what you need to improve on, she already knows one thing. what?"" asked Miss O. ""doodling, I mean-gosh! You need to contain yourself! Cant you do that? Stick to ‘away from the homework and classwork’ and do it at recess and lunch, and when you get home in your sketch book. ok? ""ok said Miss O sadly. She didn’t know how she was gonna do this-she was doing this since she was five, 4 years later fourth grade, now someone makes her change it. None of her other teachers cared. They just thought it was cute. She liked that a lot. The next day at school she was struggling, she could get herself as far as a head when she broke out and started yelling to the teacher ""I CANT DO THIS! I CANT CONTAIN MY SELF! I HAVE TO DRAW! SEND ME DOWN TO THE ART ROOM LIKE YOU USUALLY DO! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! ILL DO MY WORK AS H/W! She felt refreshed. The teacher took a large sigh. ""ok, you cant doodle on your work, I will let you only do a little of that every day though, I mean, if its really killing you that bad. And-if you are gonna do that as h/w then I’d be glad to send you to the art room. said the teacher. ""Thanks. ""Miss O said as she smiled and left.
