BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE (PG)
Based on the beloved book of the same name, Because of Winn-Dixie, follows 10 year-old Opal, who was abandoned by her mom when she was a baby, on a trip to Florida to meet up with her preacher Dad. While there she finds a stray dog at the local Winn-Dixie grocery store and names him accordingly. With the loving (if not a little goofy) pooch by her side, Opal regains some happiness in her life and learns to love (and trust) again.
