THE PACIFIER (PG)

Family comedies aren't where you'll usually find tough guy actor, Vin Diesel, but, in The Pacifier, Diesel plays a former Navy SEAL who goes to work undercover to protect a family's five kids from the bad guys who are after their dearly departed dad's scientific experiments. Phew. Sounds far fetched, right? Right. But it actually is cute, harmless fun and co-stars "Gilmore Girl" Lauren Graham and Mischa/Marissa's "O.C." dad, Tate Donovan, so it can't be all that bad.
