Bill Williams is a washed up writer/actor type who's unexpectedly hired to write a sequel to the action film that made him famous more than a decade ago. When Bill learns that his co-star is Aaron, a rich kid with cerebral palsy with no acting experience whose dad "bought" the him the part, what Bill had hoped would the chance for a major comeback turns into a series of outlandish complications.

Ultimately, Aaron's tenacious spirit, unwavering optimism and unconditional friendship turns out to be an important, priceless gift to Bill.
