Emperor Jahan had intended to construct a black mausoleum for himself and have the two linked together by a silver bridge so he and his wife could rest comfortably together for eternity, but sadly he died before his plan could be executed. It's not a totally bummer story though, as his body was laid to rest in the Taj Mahal in a tomb next to his wife's.
